Privacy policy
Last updated:
This page explains what information is collected on the orbicon.az website, why it is used and where it is stored.
This policy applies to the website itself, its contact form and its “We’ll call you back” form. Other websites opened through links on this site, such as the App Store, Google Play, walvero.com and aparatura.az, have their own rules.
What information we collect
When you send a request, you provide your first name, last name and message, as well as your email address or phone number so that we can contact you. You can give both if you wish. You can also add your company name if you like; if you do, you are also asked for your job title.
In the “We’ll call you back” form you enter your first name, last name and phone number; if you wish, you can also add your email address. No company or message is asked for.
In addition, the date the request was sent, the IP address and the language in which you sent the form (Azerbaijani, English or Russian) are recorded.
An IP address is the address of the network through which your device connects to the internet. It is included in the request email together with the other information.
To send the form, you must confirm that you agree to this information being used to respond to your request. In the “We’ll call you back” form, the consent covers your first name, last name and phone number being used to call you back and, if you entered your email address, to send you a confirmation there.
Why we use this information
- to read your request and reply to you;
- if you requested a call back, to call you on the number you entered;
- if you entered your email address, to send you an automatic message confirming that your request was received;
- to protect the form from spam and automated submissions.
To protect against spam, the site checks whether the form was filled in by an automated program. The IP address is used to limit the number of requests sent from the same address: no more than five requests are accepted within one hour. This limit applies to the contact form and the “We’ll call you back” form together.
Who processes the information and where it is stored
When you send the form, the information goes to the website's server and from there, as an email, to Orbicon's mailbox. The site does not store requests in a separate database.
Requests are read and answered by Orbicon. If you entered your email address, it is set as the reply-to address in the email so that we can reply to you directly. If you did not enter an email address in a call-back request, no reply-to address is set.
If you entered your email address in either form, an automatic message confirming that your request or call-back request was received is sent to it after your request has been successfully sent to Orbicon's mailbox. It comes from no-reply@orbicon.az under the name “Orbicon”, and replies to it go to info@orbicon.az. It contains only standard text and the Orbicon logo: your name, phone number, message, company details and IP address are not included. If no email address was entered, no such message is sent.
The site runs on a hosting service, and emails are sent and stored through an email service. The providers of these services keep the website and email working, so request information passes through their systems and is stored there.
Storage and deletion
Request emails are stored in Orbicon's mailbox.
To calculate the request limit, a record linked to your IP address and the times requests were sent are kept on the server. The one-hour period only applies to calculating the limit: this record is not deleted automatically after an hour.
So that the automatic message is not sent to the same address again and again, a code (hash) calculated from your email address and the times these messages were sent are kept on the server; the email address itself is not written to this record. At most one such message is sent to the same address within 30 minutes and at most three within 24 hours; this limit counts both forms together. This record is not deleted automatically either.
If an error occurs while sending, a technical error record is created on the server. The information you entered in the form is not included in that record.
Cookies and browser storage
The current version of the site does not use tracking tools for advertising or analytics.
Your choice to pause or resume the video and animations is saved in your browser so that it also applies on your next visit. This choice is not sent to the server and is not deleted automatically. You can delete it by clearing the site data in your browser settings.
The consent in the forms applies only to the information you send through a form, not to this choice saved in your browser.
So that the short intro animation on the home page is not shown again in the same tab, a note is kept in your browser’s session storage. This note is not sent to the server and is deleted when the tab is closed.
Questions about your information
If you have questions about the information you sent, or would like it corrected or deleted, write to info@orbicon.az. In your message, include the email address or phone number you entered in the form.
